12th Night Coronation, January 6-8 2017 in Miehonlinna - Finland
The Canton of Miehonlinna invites all to celebrate the12th Night Coronation. Come and bid farewell to the previous King and Queen and witness the passing forth of the Drachenwald Crown. The weekend will be filled with arts and sciences, tournaments, dance, sauna and of course a delicious feast.
Event Site
Ahtela youth camp in Sauvo in Southern Finland, an hour’s drive east of Turku (street address Ahtelantie 21, Sauvo). The site is in our exclusive use and consists of a dining hall building, a service building with saunas and showers and accommodation buildings spread in the woods within walking distance from the hall. Some cabins have facilities in a separate building nearby. Some buildings on the site are handicap accessible.
The site can fit 100 guests, most of whom will get a bed. Own sheets are required. If we get more than 100 reservations, there will be a waiting list. The site opens 7 pm on Friday and closes at noon on Sunday. Smoking is only allowed in designated areas. Candles are only allowed inside lanterns.
We offer low lactose and vegetarian food alternatives. We will try to accommodate for other diets and food allergies but cannot guarantee a full menu. If you will require a special diet please mention this when making the reservation.
Cost and reservations
Adult registration is 50 EUR and Adult member discount registration is 47 EUR. Children under 4 can come free of charge but don't get their own bed. Children 4-14 year old pay 33 EUR without member discount and 30 EUR with member discount. Children are considered members if parent is a member.
Day trip costs 18 EUR and with member discount 15 EUR. A meal package including lunch and feast is available for 15 EUR.
Late fee is 10 EUR. The last day to reserve without the late fee is 18th of December. Finnish residents also have to pay by 18th of December to avoid the late fee. All guests are required to make a reservation in advance. The reservations will start 30th of October at 10.00 am Finnish time (GMT +2).

Cancellation policy
If you cancel your reservation after 18th of December, we unfortunately cannot reimburse you at all. If you have a reservation and don't cancel in time or don't pay or come to the event, we will charge you all costs according to your reservation at the regular prices, including the late fee and a handling fee.
The payment goes to Keskiaikaseura Miehonlinna ry's Osuuspankki account FI08 5750 0120 0776 57 .
We appreciate it if guests from abroad can do an electronic transfer in advance, but cash payments in euros are accepted at the door without a late fee. International payment information is available on the event website.
Travel information and pickups
The nearest airport is in Turku and the closest bus stop is in Paimio gas station. Pickups and dropoffs to both places can be arranged for foreign guests. The cost is 10 EUR one way and 15 EUR both ways. The rides need to be reserved at least one month in advance. For Finnish guests there are no arranged pickups but we will help you to contact other guests for rides. Driving instructions can be found on the event web site.
